Aghada (Irish: Áth Fhada, meaning “long ford”) is a small fishing town situated on the south-east coast of Cork in County Cork, Ireland.
Rostellan, Aghada and Whitegate are three sister towns on the eastern side of Cork Harbour. Located some 32 kilometres from Cork, Rostellan is situated at the head of a small creek. Known as Rostellan Lake, this creek is famed for bird-life and attracts large numbers of bird watchers all year round. The woods around its shore offer very attractive walks along the shore of what is a proposed Natural Heritage Area. Rostellan Woods were part of the Rostellan Castle estate. Rostellan Castle was demolished in the 1920s.

A slipway of 20 meters runs along the eastern side of the pier. A car parking area which is also used for the storage of punts is adjacent to the pier. This slipway is the only public usable slip on the eastern side of Cork Harbour. The Garage adjacent to the pier is the only public facility to obtain Petrol within Cork Harbour without having to carry fuel in vehicles on the public roads.
